Associate Director
Mark became an associate director in 2012, having joined the practice 2009. Mark supports the team at a senior level drawing on his excellent design and technical skills. He takes a strategic lead on our education and healthcare schemes resolving complex issues through skilled consultation and innovative solutions. Mark is also the practice’s Health & Safety Manager and is responsible for its CHAS accreditation.

David has been a director of Rivington Street Studio since 2007, supporting teams across a wide range of projects in the education, housing and commercial sectors. He is focused on collaboration, attention to detail and sustainable design. He has extensive experience in project delivery and has successfully completed a range of award-winning new build, remodelling and retrofit projects. David is an associate member of the Association of Project Safety (APS). David is also a Chair of Trustees for Liberty Academies Trust and a Professional Studies Advisor for Part 3 students at the University of Cambridge.

Éimear became a director of Rivington Street Studio in 2024. She is experienced in delivering exemplary designs for schools, winning several awards.. Her solutions for both new build and retrofit have end-user satisfaction as their focus through her skilled consultation skills. Within the practice, Éimear oversees our internal project management system. Externally, Éimear sits on the Brighton & Hove DesignPLACE review panel.
Dominic Head

Associate
Dominic joined the practice in 2010 and is adept in delivering excellent design solutions for both new build and refurbishment schemes. Within the education sector, Dom has worked extensively on both school and university projects, including teaching spaces, laboratories, hubs, libraries and office workspace. Dom is our Training Manager and oversees our in-house ‘Friday Talks’.
Richard Holland

Richard joined the practice in 2013, becoming a director in 2024. He is an experienced architect with extensive experience across education and sports sectors. He has successfully delivered a number of highly sustainable new build and refurbishment projects for a wide range of client communities. Within the practice, Richard leads the practice’s Quality Management System and manages the use of BIM across our projects.

Associate
Tomos has worked on projects at various scales, across the commercial, education and civic sectors, and including delivering Net Zero projects. Tomos became an associate in 2023 and is Chair of the practice’s Employee Forum, which he has championed since the practice became an EOT in 2022. He is also responsible for induction management and leading Rivington Street Studio’s new office management system.

Director of Projects
Wendy, a founding director of Rivington Street Studio, has over 30 years’ experience in the education, housing and public sectors. She has built a strong reputation for understanding the vision and aims of a project and delivers sustainable and award-winning designs across new build and retrofit projects. Wendy is active in higher education delivering lectures, hosting design workshops and as an external examiner, and she is chair of governors of a local secondary school.
Richard Trew

Richard joined the practice in 2001 and become an associate in 2005. He has a wealth of experience in the education sector and has successfully delivered a range of award-winning schemes for the practice. He is especially skilled at transforming sensitive existing buildings extend their life. Richard is responsible for the CAD and IT systems within the office.

Associate + Passivhaus Designer
With extensive planning and project-running experience, Steve became an associate at Rivington Street Studio in 2023. He has successfully developed projects for residential and mixed-use sites for local authority and private clients alike. Steve is Chair of the practice’s Green Team and is a certified Passivhaus Designer. In addition, Steve manages the practice’s CPD programme.
