City, University of London – Bayes Business School

Rivington Street Studio’s redevelopment of Bayes Business School consolidates the faculty within its existing building on Bunhill Row and provides new accommodation in a nearby building on Finsbury Square. The result provides fresh, modern, sustainable spaces to help Bayes deliver its programmes into the 21st century.

The extensive remodelling of Finsbury Square provides a range of teaching spaces, offices and specialist areas including syndicate rooms and a TV studio. These are supported by breakout and social learning opportunities including a generous café. The designs cater for remote and hybrid learning delivery models reflecting the international nature of the School. The top floor includes a catered, flexible event space maximising the views across the City.

“Rivington Street Studio has managed to convert a challenging traditional office layout into high quality executive teaching spaces, including several lecture theatres; that they’ve managed to fit-in these in is a result of decades of (education) experience and ingenuity. Since having taken occupation, the responses have been nothing but praise for how the spaces have been transformed into cutting-edge learning environments.”
